Holy's Mine Dump Ride 26 October

What time is this shindig starting ?

Need to plan my drinking on Saturday night.

It seems those living out our way are drinking a lot less than initially planned.

It is 7 for 7h30.

How long do you think it will take to get there?

Guys just be careful. There are speed traps at most of the Construction Zones along the highways where the speed limit is reduced to 80km/hour.

Yes, be careful when you're taking off your numberplates. Sometimes the plastic clip breaks and then you need to buy a new numberplate bracket.

LOL

Now where did I put my coat...

Way OT, but I was amazed when I logged into payfine.co.za and found nothing to be paid. With all the driving back and fourth to Rietvlei I've been doing I was sure I must have erred and been caught some time.

Are you riding tonight, Shaun?

With the new speed system if there are no plates on the vehicle it picks up the manufacturers 'tag' electronically which has the chassis & engine numbers which they trace on the system. So all the guys riding without plates are being nailed.

Yeah, I guess I'm not too bright. I should rather use velcro to attach the plates hey? Wink

Probably around 30 minutes or so. Shouldn't be too much traffic on the M1 / M2 / N3 / N12

The last mine/dump/ride was verrrry cold. So cold I got sick and from what I've read some of the ppl that went also got sick. Someone at work told me today that it is toxic to cycle in those places. True? False?
