Well, I sure hope this thread is a lesson to all hubbers.

Sellers, if you can't do the deal face to face, maybe get a 50% up front and the balance on delivery.

Buyers, pay the seller when you said you would. People in general don't like it when their money gets screwed with, so treat the transaction as you would a business transaction if it was your own business.

STM, looks like this one blew up in your face. I don't think it was intentional from your part, but that's how life goes sometimes. Learn from this experience and chalk it up as one of life's little lessons. I'm sure the EFT will clear soon enough and then we can all put this one behind us.

If I eft it can take up to two days for it to process to the "receivers" bank account. I bank with Nedbank.

Its a protection mechanism.

Same bank 1 day

Diff bank two days.

I say give STm the benefit till Thursday.

I'm with Nedbank as well. 2 days for my eft's and they also don't have a facility to notify the reciever that transfer was done. Makes you think, doesn't it. Wink

Give the dude a break, he said the money's been paid and i believe him. No harm no foul, and no reason to flame and make an example out of him, he's probably not related to Grey Owl 33 and a 3rd. You all know he's a lightie n they mess sh!t up sometimes. I've purchased from him before, eft'd him full payment and he posted the goods up to me immediately without clowning me around.

Hey Singletrackmind, don't worry about this any further. If you have met your obligations towards whoever, just ride this thing out. But please do learn a leasson from this. Sometimes your name and honor is all you have- if you loose that, you've lost everything. Reg Lizard2008-10-21 22:45:40

Bullsh!t. Another fib. You do have my details. Still nothing, and so we wait another day.

Here's some advice. If you are going to transact willy nilly with money you apparently don't have, get a proper bank account and be straightforward with people.

Believe me I don't need the R400. It's being jerked around which pees me off. And causes me to mix my metaphors.
