@ Ha ha - its crap, no point in arguing it. Come ride with me I'll show u just how crap. But then again, not sure you'll be able to keep up.

We in the same boat though, I fell 4 x since Jun 12th on my MTB, and the Trek survived and the jockey survived, so i echo what Ox said about the bones.

@ aNDY - no one told me when I ordered it that SCRAM had bought quarc, if they did, I wouldnt have been so stupid

Kieran, I have just spoken to Nance and her words were "I don’t know if taking Kieran out there is wise……

The road on the shebeen side is REALLY BAD at the moment……"

You have a cracked bone, which if Ox looked at FB he would've seen, and now he wants you to pound you leg away by running. Seems he really does wanted you dead or crippled!

Andy it seems Oxman is really playing nicely hey

Yeah. It seems like he doesn't want you to beat him.

Or maybe Kid and Ox are scheming together so that you don't beat either of them!

It would seem as if the youngsters, they are not made any more like humans were made tongue.gif Any case, Ha Ha, heal up and stop trying to be a hollow boned birdie! Drink your minerals, milk, and do some running. It will do you much more good in the long run ;) than what any quantity of cycling will ever do for you! Heck, it will even make you a stronger and more resilient cyclist who can bounce back from just about ANY fall biggrin.gif

Even going over the cliff at SBR??? ;)

I've never even cycled at SBR, so how can I go over any cliff there?

I'm having visions of doing the yearly run there though :)

We will probably leave Alberhoughton at about 6:30 to start riding at Breeds by 7:30 ... anyone welcome irrespective of groupset, crank, chain, cracks or any other handicap

Thanks Ben, will just need to organise my kid, but would love to join, despite having a Raleigh, leaky shock, plain Deore groupset/crank, shimano chain, and lack of crack. Other handicaps we'll rather not go into :)

Uhhhhmmmm if you come with bar ends on riser bars there will be pointing and laughing but you'll still be allowed to ride

That can be done :) I have a set of white riser bars waiting for assignment :D

Even I know the "No bar-ends on riser bars" rule

(wonder if Kid did too :P)

hmmm... you fashion junkies run the risk of upsetting the queen!

true to its name, its unreliable when shiftingthe power unit is fine, cause its not SRAM

Trubie dude there is nothing wrong with SRAM shifting mate

I think Trubie is getting a bit confused here.

He has the Quarq with SRAM cranks and Chainrings. If his shifting is affected then it is his Crapagnolo derailleur that is the problem!

Back to Camaro/Pieter Ackroyd and Butchers this morning :o .... wake up call for me and Dangerous Dan

Hope Saul took snow boots to work today ;)

Why ? (snow boots)

You should know that Comaro can hurt - a little.

Did you use the road bike or the Single Speed ?

Posted

Road bike, I'm not 'that' doff  - but a SS session planned at Rietvlei later

"It will snow when BigBen starts riding morning rides on the road again" apparently ;)

Oh ja. Well it will take a day or two for the weather to change.

Just know that if a cold front comes our way, I'm going to blame YOU !!!!

Wasn't implying that you doff, was implying that a man with your cycling ability could manage Comaro on the SS.
