We were outside immediately and ran around like mad whilst the Dutch quietly continued cycling. Rain, snow or sunshine, they cycle! Tough. Even the girls are tougher than girls! The kids had fun Cellphone, cycling, no helmet in the snow and nobody shouts abuse at them! The bicycle is part of the fabric. Tool rather than toy:

Those folk are tough on Saturday I woke up at five checked the gale force winds and went back to sleep after letting spud know I was not going to pitch. I did however go ride on Sunday in the p!ss!ng rain lots of fun.

Much worse Commuting on your bike is very easy, it's walking that's difficult! Loads of cyclepaths, but often there aren't any pavements to walk on. Weird but I like it.
