What to pay for an Omega V-Max II

I've bought a Omega V-Max II Road bike a week ago...and started to wonder if i paid the right price?  Can someone please tell me what the suggested price is...or maybe the "new" price for such a bike would be?

 

It's 50cm has a Pazzaz Carbon Fork: Shimano 105 groupset + U/16 gears. Selle Success Racing Team Seat.

These bikes are no longer on the market, but a similar specced bike (with 10sp 105) would sell for R10 000-R12000.

 

I've seen a number of those Omegas with 105 9sp for R3500 to R4500. Yours looks in pretty good condition.

As it is in the picture, I'd say anything up to R4 500. I reckon if you paid more than R5k it's too much.

what ever you paid it looks like a sweet ride - sure you'll have some great times on it

I hope you are u/16. Otherwise you'll have to fork out another R400 for a new cassette. Then you'll most probably have to replace the chain. R250. And if you are really unlucky new chain rings aswell. R700.

Thanks for all the insight...I now feel assured that R 3500.00 was the right price to pay.  Dylan your right i should've consulted you guys before I made any decisions, however  I only got to know of the site after my first Saturday out with the local cyclists. 

 

It's great to tap some knowledge.
