A good turnout of Hubbers.

Thanks to Nancy Drew for organising, the use of her parents farm as the car-park, the coffee and muffins on arrival, cooldrinks afterwards and the use of the pool to cool off.

Almost all made it to the top, some turned at the top and headed back whilst others braved the fast and loose gravel descent down to the shebeen and the long climb back.

Thanks all, a great mornings ride.

Onto the Breedtsnek Road. Most of the bunch is still together at this point...

At the top of Breedtsnek. Some tired and weary bodies were now contemplating the much longer ascent from the other side...

Great pics Thuggie.

I vote for Nancy Drew as Hub Ride organiser of the year.

For a mere R20 contribution we got safe and organised parking, coffee, rusks, hot cross buns, muffins and bananas on arrival and cool drinks and the pool to cool off in when we got back. Thanks N.D. ClapClapClap

Great ride guys, bit harder than I expected but a good workout.

You definitely did, dd!

It was drizzling on our way out to Hekpoort this morning but cleared up shortly after the ride started.  Things had definitely heated up by the time we reached the top of Breedt's though Pinch

Nope, as Loon said it was one of three racing snakes that came past his fiance and me on the way back.  He tried to get back on his bike and keep riding but eventually one of his buddies had to go and fetch the car for him.
