Well in the race today I attacked my moer off got in breaks got brought back' date=' got in a "altercation" with some clown explaining with Marescia what a mild gutter is and what racing is actually about and not bunch riding is going up a roller then almost got away with some guys but got brought back and then with my superior sprinting skill I have,  got blown in the bunch sprint cause 65kg of raging fury sprints like a potted plant and finsihed in the bunch but I had a jol today for the 1st time in a long time so thank to the whole Cycleab bunch and Ronney from She-Cape for a good ride.

But in all fairness Walser got 4th so our team did well.

Christian is an animal!  Congrats to him and the team on that one.

I had one of my worst days ever on a bike. Seeded in D but started in F due to a puncture at the startAngry Ended up starting with F. Got in a nice group over Hells and worked lekker up to the point where I got another punctureAngry (4 way stop just past Wellington). Then met up with Poison IvyBig%20smile who "gave" me a tube- thanks for that Poison Ivy.Clap Then my special friend Hagar stopped while we where bussy exchanging tubes an he and Poison Ivy rode on. Thought my bad luck was over, wrong. 20 minutes later another puncture- luckily Hagar gave me one of his spare tubes- thanks HagarClap It felt like I was on the road the whole day. But yeh, my riding time was just over 3 hours, but with all the punctures, officially 3h23Angry Oh and did I forget to tell you that I forgot my gloves while changing my first puncture at the startAngry, so I was gloveless the entire race- felt like I was naked.Big%20smile

@ Reg Lizard .... one word .... Gatorskins Wink

the crappy part about the limited argus seeding events here in the cape, is that they gotta go smooth else your seeding suffers

lost 15mins myself...so thats the way it goes Cry

Bummer with the punctures guys, I saw many people struggling at the roadside. I was one of the lucky puncture-free riders!Big%20smile

I ride with GatorskinsConfused but I think it might be time to replace them- done just over 5500km on them.

Was Subvets unusually slow or tactical on Sunday? My first time riding VA, and I kept on waiting for the vicious accelerations over the R44 rollers that would spit me out the back, but they never really came.

Were the really strong teams riding Elites? Are people tired at the end of the year? Or was it just that in funride groups I tend to take plenty of turns on the front, while on sunday I was keeping my nose out of the wind and trying to learn the ropes?

Guest colonel

Pistadex, maybe come and do some attacks and try get away in a break, get on the front and bring a break back or throw gutters instead of sitting in the group hiding from everything and being pulled along to the end.

About 12 of us made the racing upfront all morning and it was hard we all agreed at the end from Cyclelab team, She cape, Marsillio projects the rest all just sat on and did nothing but get a free ride and when you asked them to come through they pulled off but with 1km to go they came out for the sprint. Once again it amazes me to the end.

Where you finish??

What also amazes me is that they had non licenced riders in VA if you had a PPA seeding that would qualify you for the league they threw you in??

I did my share of work in the front of the this group . There were individuals making breaks and bringing riders back, not just teams if you noticed! smiley2.gif
