stringbean Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 What lights are you using for mtbing?I know there have been many threads but i am too lazy to look.What have you used,are currently using,are you happy,how much did you pay?NOT looking to start a thread about wo knows the most about lights etc.Just give me your first hand experience.

AndreZA Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Okay, how much do you want to spend? There are okay lights for R1000 and there are amazing lights for R4000. And how long tdo they have to burn for? The cheap ones only 2 hrs and the more expensive ones up to 12 hrs.
Guttersnipe Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I pretty happy with my recently acquired Dinotte setup - blinding leds, good battery life, reasonable price per lumen, especially if you get one of their web specials (although i bought mine R7.25/dollar).

About 7-8 hours on full beem bright enough for the cars to ask us to dim our lights on the middle setting it can last for over 30 hours. I personally do not think that there is anything comparable available in the local market.

TitusTi Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Have 2 light setups.1 Nightlightning iBlaast for the head and 1 Niterider Moab for the bar.The Nightlightning is lighter and new than the Moab, also a little bit brighter, together the system is awesome though.
