It just put the power back in your legs, had one 20km from the finish,my legs came back i passed guys that dropped me earlier and today my legs arnt a bit sore. NotSoBigBen Posted January 26, 2009 Share In all my years (some 18 years) of racing (Duathlon, Triathlon, Cycling, IronMan, Ultraman, Marathons, Comrades) I have tried many different muti's and never found anything that gave me a sudden boost. Having said that I generally race with a 'feeding' strategy so for example rode Fastone with 2 SupaGoos and Fit Carbo supreme. Took 1 goo at 1 hour and another at 2 hours (rode 2:39) and drank most of a 750 bottle of Fit. So just maybe I'm never down enough to feel a sudden 'surge' .......
