Is this frame the same as the Schwinn Peloton Pro or the Schwinn Peloton LTD (High modulous) frame?

Awesome bike! I seriously considered buying the same frame but since it is an economic recession I settled for a much cheaper BMC Streetfire SSX alu frame..maybe oneday i'll also ride a plastic bike and planet X is definately good value for money...

Just like people are offended by the "girls and bikes" thread, so am I with this thing. I think it is in bad taste to show off and brag about something that others want. I'm gonna ask admin to remove this thread. I'm highly discusted in you people and your pawn.

Daggavis I don't know if its the same as either of the Schwinns to be honest with you. I had a good laugh when I read the latest Bicycling mag- at the back under 2009 frames, my one is like fourth from the bottom in price range! Mampara jealousy makes you nastyBig%20smile

Hey Keith

You've had this bike a while now? How does it ride? I want to buy myself a new frame some time and price-wise this looks like a good option. Best of all is I can do it under R 10 000, including seatpost, stem handlebars and some other extras. I'll go with the black frame though!

It's so difficult to take good pics of the white bikes... they always have that Halo effect.

Stunning ride... not sure about the red cage tho.

I hope it begs you to ride it and gives you many happy miles.

Kiwi' date=' guys, do we know the weight difference between the Carbon SL frame and the Superlight Team Alloy frame? That Alloy frame is also a beauty!

Hi Dee_Biker,

Just built up a Superlight Team Alloy with a Microshift Carbon groupset, looks very cool, I'll try and post a pic if I can before it gets picked up on the weekend.

Weight difference between the carbon and alloy frames:

  S(44) M(48) L(52) XL(56)
Pro Carbon 1040 1120 1180 1210
Team Alloy 1321 1375 1441 1508

So that's about 260gr difference on average, which is not bad for a alloy frame. Very good price. These frames are very cool!

I can imagine the Carbon SL frame , with the Microshift White groupset, some lekka carbon wheels. What a ride! Maybe December if my bonus comes in! :)

7.6kg?!? not too shabby! for 105 grouppo etc. im impressed

That's very light for 105.What wheels and bars, seatpost ex....the Planet x stems are very nice and they are light to.

I doubt that bike was so light.

Look at the frame weights: it's not lighter than the Giants, cervelo's ect, and with training wheels and 105?????

Sorry I don't believe the 7.6kg's for a complete setup with pedals and all.
