Is it a good or a bad idee to screw your Co2 bombs where your v-brakes was  supose to be at the back? Or maybe it just doesn't matter?

(obviously I have disc brakes Wink)

Looking for a way to hold two bombs on the seat post...Seen it on two bikes. ( a rubber mould thats hooks aroung the seat post.)

 

Anyone got any ideas??

Well my uncle used the brake mounts and he's a hectic rider and he never lost any co2 bombs.

just a quick question: don't you run the risk of getting grit on that tube during a muddy ride? that grit would end up inside a trye should you have to replace. before long, you could have another flat. i know a saddle bag seems nerdish to a lot of people, but surely it would eliminate that possibility?

just a quick question: don't you run the risk of getting grit on that tube during a muddy ride? that grit would end up inside a trye should you have to replace. before long, you could have another flat. i know a saddle bag seems nerdish to a lot of people, but surely it would eliminate that possibility?

i know one hubber who came into the shop on saturday to stock up for sani, and intends riding with a camelbak and one of those "roomy" saddle bags. there's something to be said for erring on the side of cautionBig%20smile

Ag holy nope havtn had any problems, just remove it after a ride and rinse it off and let it dry before replacing again.

Its out of sight and out of mind and doesnt way down my jersey pockets.
