I'm scared to elaborate in case I am victimised on my next ride... Ouch I'll say this' date=' it was in Sandton...  [/quote']

Why would you be victimised?

If that is the quality of person out on the road on bikes now it is about time they were identified, isolated and made to realise that their bad behaviour is jeopardising the rest of the "normal riders" reputations and even their lives.

I cannot stand bad manners and am not afraid to voice my opinion

Tell them what you think!

Hypothalamus? Big word for a blue bull supporter!

Careful,  Man with no name, I may be forced to use the force or even my lightsaber!

It for reasons like this and others though, where they are going to start implmenting rules like they have in running where you cannot participate in a race unless you belong to a club.

I have noticed many similar situations before, and I have just recently started cycling. Even in races where the the so called "pro" wil have some serious words with you for the smallest of mistakes, everyone has to start somewhere and you going to make a mistake, I accept and apologise, but its when people are just arrogant  that hacks me off....

During the Tshwane Capital classic, where we had "complete" road closure on the N4, some old toppie had some words with my mate and I cause we where riding next to each other and he was coming past us, we where in the left lane and he had the whole right lane to pass us or even the shoulder if he really wanted to, but no, we had to go single file for him to pass, there where no cars for km's...

it takes all types to make the world, but if i will not tolerate riding with cyclists who flaunt the rules of the road or behave in a disgusting pathetic "small-d!cked" fashion... i would sooner ride alone than with such low-class excuses of riders (yep, pantani, that brings up the question of "are you seriously planning on riding with that crowd again?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?")

Some very interesting comments...!

Yesterday Jedim@ster and myself went riding and a group of cyclists came past us going up Witkoppen close to Rock Cottage. The "emergency lane there is not wide at all, but yet 2 ladies  were riding next to each other - the one on the outside was literally past the middle of the slow lane!! If I had the strength to catch them (yes, the ladies rode away from me) I would have had something to say!

Oh.. and just some clarification... It wasnt me in the punch up the other morning, but rather a fellow Think bike member...

What ladies that rode past us... I wasn't there.... Embarrassed

It's nice to know that other cyclists out there agree and that there are other cyclist's out there that want to keep it clean and make the best of it and are going to behave as best they can not to give it a bad name!
