I'll put it this way, I have been there when every call has been made, on loud speaker so i know it is not the shop that is bullpoooing me! I make sure my ducks are in a row b4 i do things like this. The ppl i go 2 know i dont need 2go through them 2get my stuff, i know many ppl and can get direct, but i respect the market of trade and do things thecorrect way like every1 else. So i get looked after very well

Sweet stuff just checking that you wont look liek a twat if things go bad good luck and give them horns!!!!!

dont worry... after 2morrow he will be sorted by me at my LBS that i work at on fridays and saterdays...... we have one in stock i think if it wasnt sold in the last week......

The fact that there is no stock means they have not ordered enough.Prob haven't got enough cash flow to stock the full colour / model range for the whole country.

 

 

 

the products are overpriced and that is why they can not stock the whole range. Paying R1500 for a saddle is a luxury and you sure want to replace it when you have a crash.

Don't worry fowlstart i think i got one better on you, remember before my farewell you attended? 3 weeks before that so roughly the 20 of november I ordered my custom saddle thru fizik SA, im still waiting for it, they have my email, they have the shops number who said they'd keep it for me till june this year, i phoned them numerous times before I left and all thay said was, they have know idea when. they also changed the cost on me 4 times which was more than R1000 difference from the original quote.

 

still waiting for their email of which I have had none and I'd rather now, bypass the importer in SA and get it straight from italy, just specify the shop you want it sent it, I suggest you do this cause it will be much cheaper and a lot faster from speaking to others who have done the same!

 

Poor service from the SA distributor and in this current economic state, they better buck up their service or lose their license with fizik.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat dude that is quite serious, makes my lil 1month seem like nothing but still just proves the point that we always talking about! Off topic, how things going in auz my boy?

 

Have u seen the new bike yet? o man im loving it hee hee cant wait till i dont have a skew saddle on it lol. U remember my crash at the bela bela last year where mr development what am i doing in elite bunch took me out! yeah didn't realize it but my saddle has been messed since then!

Fizik gave me excellent service -- however --- I do not use LBS as this slows matters , I crashed my saddle ( Gobi ) during the Attakwas , I took a photo and email Selle Royale in Italy & within 24hrs received a response & 2 weeks later a brand new white Gobi delivered to my door all the way from Europe --- now that,s service !!

Sent you a mail on your Personal email addy... with pics of the Arione CX.... that is one seriaslie expensive saddle mate..... but got 2 of them and just a normal arione also in black and white on a bike instore and would gladly replace it for you with another and sell you that one...... just say what you want and we can make a plan for you......

well I know that distributors are haivng trouble receiving from manufacturers exactly what they order. Production has been ramped down due to the slow down in demand globally so the big markets are receiving stock first.

 

I persoanlly have not had any trouble with the Fi'zi:k guys at all.

 

I have also had my older Arione re-covered to prolong it's life and I now use it as a spare. If the saddle is a little scuffed then just get it repaired or have the cover replaced by a leather person.

Anthony from Fizik here.  Apologies for the late reply,  but I'm not actually a hubber.  A friend of mine informed me about this thread and I wanted to reply to you personally.

 

I must apologise if you think our service is useless.  All our orders have been delivered,  so all I can think is that either we missed one out or the saddle was never delivered because the bike store's account might have been placed on hold due to non payment of account.  We have recently had to place quite a few store accounts on hold,  due to the economic crisis and the fact that they are unable to pay their accounts.

 

I obviously do not want to disclose any confidential and personal information about the stores on the Hub, so please contact me on my cellphone [082 879 2755] and I can talk to you directly.

I put in an order for a new Fizik Areone saddle a month ago' date=' as my current Areone is rather well used and suffered a crash recently!

Every week it is the same story, it is supposed to have been delivered on the Wednesday and when I go 2 collect it on the Thursday it has not arrived. Making a familiar phone call and the same story comes out we will only get it 2u next Wednesday............. a month later and I go 2collect it 2day and yet again nothing and apparently will only be able 2be delivered........... Yep u guessed it, next Wednesday! This is without a doubt the most incompetent and useless service I have ever dealt with!

 

I would hate 2c the repercussions if the manufacturer were 2find out how their product is being handled here, along with the backing of large bike shops that I have, I think they going 2!

 

I think it?s about time that this whole investigation with the price fixing has come along, cos for 2long some of these agencies have been milking the market!

I actually know the importers and must disagree strongly with you on this one as I have never had anything but top service from them.

 

even better...tell you importers that there is actually bad service. because you know them you will get better service than the rest.

Thanks so much 4getting back 2me on this personally, and feel better that we can get it all resolved as that is the main reason 4complaining so that it can b brought 2attention and something can b done about the issue!
