Why do everyone go for the zipp 404 as I think the 303 is a better all round (and lighter) wheel?

The 404's looks more aggressive and nicer.......then they buy it because it "looks" nicer on the bike that the 303'sTongue

Maybe because it is far more aero and only a little heavier - having raced on both I prefer the 404 as an all round wheel - also a fair bit stiffer and stronger than the 303.

As Titus says though the Reynolds Strata DV is a better wheel than both IMO - very well made and a different carbon structure that allows higher spoke tension.

as for the Eastons, g*d damn they are strong, I had my second crash with them this weekend, they are still true although some1 pointed out the next day after the Bayside race that 2spokes are bent from the day before. Don't look like they will break so dunno if I should change them just yet. If I was riding my AC the wheels would have been a right off since the crash was quite hectic, there is even a little chip on my bike but not enough to warrant a new one yet...

Get the Eastons if you planning on racing and crashing a lotLOL

Bowmans used to, who does it now, I have no idea, get hold of the agents and ask where you can get them. Then again, not sure who the agents are either.

Mike Bevan is the agent - call him on 082 444 8022 and tell him you spoke to me. He may hae some in stock but if not then he can order them.

I have a set of the Reynolds Alta wheels too - 1500gm alluminium 30mm deep - great wheels.
