Not pretty, imo, but I suppose if it is expensive enough, somebody will buy it.

Is this to create laminar air flow or something?? Almost like creating a spiral in your inlet manifold on a cyclinder head to promote a better induction. Hmmm, or maybe not.. (i need my bed)Veloce2009-04-06 12:13:23

years ago manufacturers like Somec and Colnago and so forth also had twisted tubes. Not as radical as these but alot hotter looking.

Carbon strength really comes from the direction of the fibers in relation to the stress points as well as the resin used, the amount of layers ect... but I can't see how the 'twist' would add anything but 'eye-candy'.
