Hog_ Posted May 15, 2009 Share Very few car-drivers greet..... Really? I always:Drive to about 1m from the cyclist, then HOOT to say hello. They give the special finger salute after riding faster. Guess it's to say thanks for the extra energy or something. Then I squeeze past as close and fast as possible, so they can get maximum slipstream from my car. They then normally make a waving motion to say bye, and I give them the finger salute to say 'have a nice day'. Roadies are weird, but I think I have a good understanding of their language.

nathrix Posted May 15, 2009 Share I never see roadies while out on my MTB? I'm not sure why I sure would greet them and clap hands, especially on the rocky jeep tracks!
