Pretty sure the answer is in these 42 pages already.. maybe more then once .. but you close with 4x

You're both wrong!

It's called "MINE!!"

(and now the wait begins).

Will definitely post pics once the frame has arrived and it's all built up.

The black was Fabien Cousinie's 2011 prototype. The red was Mick Hannah's 2012 (built for Les 2 Alpes).

I'll be getting the red, but it may go to the factory for some custon Morewood & Patches treatment. (I've been meaning to send my Sukuma in for a more permanent paint job anyway).

But yeah, first the frame needs to get to me.

Congrats Patches!

How many in the stable now?

Thanks!

Bikes in general, or Morewoods?

This will be the 4th Morewood in the stable. The 6th one I've owned. (There are 2 non-morewoods in the stable, but we don't like to speak about those. Although the Cotic will be up for sale soon)

  • Makulu
  • Sukuma
  • Ndiza (old, and I'll be sad when it goes, hence the new addition)
  • 4X Prototype (Dubbed the "Zuliza" by some)

Good to see you're moving back to the metal M bikes!

How much is a Morewood factory frame repainting and what's the process to get it done?

Someone must know?!

Someone must know?!

As far as I know it's R1200. That's all prep-work, powdercoat, decals, and new bearings.

Totally worth it!

Recently I did the bearings on my Makulu myself. Cost of bearings alone (8 in total) from bearing man, was nearly R700

That's really not bad, I'm assuming you'll need to add the shipping costs both ways to that?

And you'd send the frame barebones, stripped of all parts?

Barebones yes & their couriers are around R200 each way.

R300 to CT :(

I recently had my Sukuma factory resprayed and it was R1200. I only payed for the courier down, they covered the courier cost for the return trip.

Awesome service by the guy's!!

Picked up the latest addition to the family on Thursday, Morewood Kalula.

Super happy on the way it came out.

Huge thanks to Steve, Fabien and Richard at Morewood.
