upload dit met weblink. Kies net vitality/disc as jou partner.

Tegnies is dit net die 15 000-00 bonuspunte aangesien jy klaar vir jou races jou 15 000 punte gaan kry.

You have to register to that polar link you get from the discovery website, then download the weblink softwear from the Polar website. The when you upload your polar file using the weblink softwear it gets send to the Polarsite and Discovery has to be selected to be your shared partner so they can see your info, ja ja, I know, it sounds complicated but it's not. I need those points cuz they dropped me from Gold to Blue for some f*cked up reason, got back to Bronze but it's hard racking up the points.

Fanie, they say you can earn 15 000 noral points and 15 000 bonus points...

It's 150points per 30min workout at a intensity of I think 70%? and then you earn 50points extra if it's higher than 70% intensity???

If you do a fair bit of running as well go for the Polar 625x. If you are ging to mainly cycle go for 720/725.

I have the 725x, and have not had any issues. Product Support is very good as evident at the Argus expo.

Yes Titus, you get to join AS Active and can earn 15000 points, just need to do 3races cuz you get 5000points per race, and then with this Polar one you get to earn 30 000points of 15 000points, not sure cuz Fanie is confusign me and Discovery's sit eis not that clair about it.

If you want the stuff that Polars do, then you may as well get a Polar.

If you want that plus GPS and mapping, get the Garmin.

TitusTi: you pay R100 to register with Sa-active and then you can claim points for racing (riding, running, swimming, etc). There is a 15 000 maximum plus 5 000 bonus for completing 5 events. (You can get really hung up on the points thing.) By the way, you're not allowed to score these points AND Virgin Active gym points as well.

The Polar points are an extra. I would be interested to know if Discovery allows users to accumulate Polar points and activity/gym/race points.

Jamm, Will probably start a running as well for winter training but focus is still cycling. The new CS 600 indicates that it has a power measuring facility as well (although I don't know how much it is) which may be a good buy. I have an old M52 which I could still use for running if I got the CS400/600.

I have both, the Polar is great for interval training and analysis of workouts. The Garmin is nice for the mapping and riding against previous rides also good for intervals but software not great for analysis of info. For power work I think the Power Tap is the best, software is great and the unit is very simple to use.

The new Polar CS600 will cost about R3500 plus the power unit at about R3000, definitely on my shoppiong list.

Discoveries website on Polar Weblink points: "You can earn up to 200 points per day up to a maximum of 15 000 base points and 15 000 booster points."

That in my eyes are 30 000 points?
