Jaco-fiets Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 This is not good news to me guys. I recently switched gells from energy dynamics to whasp. Bought 3 gels to try at a race and liked it, no leaking i must add. I will be buying 3 boxes of different flavoured gells this week. If this is such a common problem then i am sorry, wont waste my money on it. What a pitty........ P.S What is the point in advising people to buy the flask because then you dont have the problem with the leaking gel. If a person want to use the flask he will buy the bottle of gel and put it in a flask. We buy the gel in sachets because we prefer using it like this

At first it seemed that the whole box had leaked, but after rinsing them off I found that it was only one that had to be discarded. If I get any now, I pull the plastic sealing off the box and check inside, before parting with any cash.I must say though that I've been using the new flask system for the last few races and I think it's awesome! I have been promised replacements by Jeff Norton since the beginning of May and have still not seen them. Agreed, they are not the best at following up.

In future if you have issues please get hold of us and then please also remind us from time to time if we don't sort you out straight away We are only 2 people doing everything. and you are like 10 000 hubbers and we still deal with the normal public too We did and still do have leaking sachets and we have spent thousands of rands on fixing the problem and we think we have it sorted now, that means the new stock going out from this week, there might still be leaking sachets in the market and we have always replaced it when we have been made aware of it. We have been waiting for new stock to arrive with the new head sealilng system. In the mean time you have the option to buy the bottles and flasks which has been working well so far.

I will keep you posted.
