Yup, you can use them but you will be topping up your sealant quite regularly. They also lose some air. Go for the tubeless if you want hassle free tubeless riding. Dirtbreath Posted July 6, 2009 Share I believe the Tubeless is thicker but not sure if this makes it stronger. Have a tyre of each here that I can check out but it wont be until the weekend. I rode the Tubeless and never had a hassle. The Protection is a mates tyre running a tubeless conversion. Cannot comment on his experience.
