Uh Oh!!!!!! I hope we do not have pages full of apologies coming soon like Bob who had to apologise to the Mighty mouse and poor old tiger who had to apologise to thos Chrome miners.

Kraai ek hoop nie jy kry 'n besoek van "die suits" nie!!!!!!!

I sincerely hope the House of Pain(t) does take the time to take up this matter with their so-called "professional" cyclists.

Right' date=' Crow, riddle us this... On the drive in question, did you, as the operator of the motor vehicle obey each and every road law? Speed limits? Complete stops at stop signs? Stop behind the designated line at traffic lights and such? Kid in question wearing a safety belt? You wearing a safety belt?

[/quote']

Figure this one out, 'because he did it and got away with it, I can also?'

We can discuss this over a couple of beers before driving homeWink.

Same old, same old never ending story. Remember to shower also.......LOL

That helmets thing and the potential shame of HoP riders is nothing compared to the whole team bailing after the first stage of Graskop Hillclimbs and going home somewhere else.

Left everyone wondering if it was too steep for them or what?? I mean, drive all the way to Moompoomerlanger, start one of the hardest races of the year, and then quit after one stage?

The lack of helmets after a race may be silly but that's their problem. The apparent lack of hardcore...now that's a lot more shameful.

**Big%20smile obligatory smiley to show that this is in jest. (many a true word is spoken) Big%20smile there's another one, just in case.

Bob....... no riddle.... you should actually have spelt it ridiculous. The line is to be drawn with your own truth or integrity...... not at the what if's.

A Samajoor in the army once said when a troepie complained about cleaning his rifle because we were going to shoot tomorrrow in any case, why wipe your ass when you are going to shyte again tomorrow.

It wasn't/ isn't a rant. A rant WOULD LOOK LIKE TIHS COMPLETE WITH SPELING MISTAKES AND MUD SLINGING.

It's a pity that ambassadors of the sport decide not to wear helmets and obey the law.

Yes, I ALWAYS wear a safety belt and no I don't always drive the correct speed according to the law. BUT when I drive a company vehicle with it's name on it I do. When I'm driving in a company vehicle I represent them...not myself.

Does that make sense to you guys?

No the kid and his dad wasn't wearing safety belts (or helmets), but that is their choice. The dad explained the helmet issue to the kid...it's not mine so I didn't comment.

You made coffee spurt out my nose. Shot for making it perfectly clear with this thread and in particular this post, what is wrong with this beautiful land. Thanks for the laugh.

I really don't believe it.

Confused Are you now saying that it was HoP riders choice not to wear a helmet just like the driver of the car and his kid not wearing seatbelts and all is now well? ConfusedConfusedConfused ooops and the Big%20smile

Let's face it guys, pro cyclists are very poor ambassadors for our sport. Most of them (if not all) litter at will, most avoid wearing helmets to show off their coiffures, most will happily cheat with the premise that it is only a crime if you are caught, most disregard the rules of the road. The average funrider is a far better ambassador for the sport.

Oh, it's easier if you look at it this way: be the change you want to see in the world. (Mahatma 'supercallousedfragilemysticplaguedwithhalitosis' Gandhi.) Big%20smile

A quick search of TNT's other posts makes for an interesting read. Does The Hub give a platform to voice some anger issues? Does you parents know you're drinking coffee?

Obvious rant off.
