Ive heard of a couple of people using spray n cook as a wet lube - Is this a common practice & how well does it work do you think ?' date=' i havent tried it yet - little paranoid of destroying my cassette, derailer pulley wheels chainwheel & blah blah blah[/quote'] It certainly works to get your wetsuit on if you have put on weight!!!

My mother in law swears blindly that if you get burnt on anything spray and cook will help take the pain away and get rid of the burn quicker....

Weird I know but it seems to work, try it sometime - Just dont go burning yourself to test it!

When I was a kid we used to try get hammered by huffing spray and cook. Can't remember it working, but then again, that's maybe because it did.

What is the best product to use to make the bike look new. When i get it from the bike shop it looks great. After i wash it the black paint is dried and dull?

silicone spray...

Mr Min

Gave Mr Min a shot on Saturday night to clean my bike and works well. Gave a nice gloss look to it. Whats great with Mr Min is that its active ingredient is good at removing stickers too.

I'm told that spray n cook is banned in the UK? Something about it being hazardous if breathed in.

Well Spray 'n Cook is one of the best self defence weapons in your house. Zebb is still better.

I'm asthmatic and cannot be around the old spray 'n cook - chest closes up. The newer olive oil one is fine. No problems.

It probably works really well if you plan on frying an egg on your chain at your first rest stop

LOLLOLLOL makes me think again of LittleBen's quip when we were out riding and a discussion came up regarding Eggbeaters vs. SPD's (he rides the beaters)

'at least if I am stuck in the veld somewhere I can still have scrambled eggs' Tongue
