Hi all - I see Fisante tarring is done - only need lines.

Now just Wellington and the circle route is back and better!

I've been avoiding that segment as it is such poor road surfacing.

That's cool news!

Anyone going out for an evening spin?

*hold on to your handlebars with these gusts*

I commuted back home and the heart rate went up several extra beats, even though the wind is mostly a tail wind home - gusting wind through the traffic can be scary

Myself and udxcob visited Chris last night.

He is walking around without too much trouble, and the his injuries is healing nicely. His right arm was broken in three places, and there is pins inserted. He still does not have the full range of motion back in the arm, but is getting physio for it.

He lost a lot of weight, but not his zest for life. He plans to be back on the bike by October (already planning on which bike to buy / build up as a replacement.)

He is gratefull for all the messages and says thank you for all the prayers.

When is Chris heading back to work?

Not sure. He said that the Dr. and Physio suggested that he goes back for a day or two per week. The "new" routine will help his recovery, and by using his arm for the various tasks/ actions, will speed up recovery.

He did say that he will be at the finish on Sunday. Keep an eye out for him.

Thanx, Wannabe..

He is coming back nicely.
