I'm in two minds. Bit worried that it will turn out to be. a) Too slow a ride if I'm not feeling strong enough.

B) Going too hard should I feel strong.

Think I'll stick with the skinny wheels, and just ride to my HR.

3 Scott's confirmed for tomorrow

So, just to get this right, there are two rides happening from this thread tomorrow (do I notice a split or is just me :P )

1. GMan / 'Dale / Airbender / Puncheur's 125Km, 2 passes - starting at Medi Clinic at 7:15. Ave speed - 27Km/h

2. Wannabe's 70Km route - starting at Mc D's at 7:30. Ave speed <25Km/h

I am going with the longer distance........ just because I can :w00t:

You got that spot on. Organised "my own" ride because I'm still not 100% after my bout of bronchitis. Don't want to try and hang onto your wheels and then blow up between here and nowhere.

At least I know with my proposed route, there is a shorter version available, should it be needed.

Well, the longer route has a short option too - over helz then left instead of right.

Cool man. I wanted to have a look at that boot mount rack of yours - see if I can make it work on smallh's chico. Gonna be spending a bit of time at Puncheur's crib after the ride tomorrow.

Getting soft in my old age (or is it because I don't have a certain person around me, telling me, HTFU!!) :D :D

Only problem is that your pace will be a good deal higher. At least I know I can go slower without frustrating the crap out of you. :P .

Will be at home (I hope, got lots to do at home) Pop around, quite sure it will work on the Chico.

Wanna be, are u guys going out with mountainbikes? please give me an indication of your route.

Sorry Andro, only now checked on thehub. We went out with the skinny wheels. Was a stunning ride weather wise.

Maybe next time you can join.

We had a stunning 77km ride.(avg just over 24km/h) Weather was perfect, wind helped nicely most of the route.

There was one Solis, one 'Dale and three Scotts in the mix.

Tx for the good company, Guys and Gal. Next ride will be a 100km one.
