Happened to me twice.Few weeks back I also had a kid there taking some long distance pot shots at me. Luckily his aim was pretty bad but I'm worried that with all the practice it might get better... There have been a few incidents at Fisantekraal. Have never felt unsave there myself so was caught surprised when a rock or 2 landed near my bike.Think it was just naughty kids though not a serious threat. Bankie99 Posted October 21, 2015 Share I have also experienced it once coming from the R44 side where a brick was thrown at 2 of my team mates who dropped off the group slightly. Something needs to be done about it ASAP because should that brick hit a cyclist it could cause serious injury if not death. And I am not exaggerating here I am extremely concerned about it. Imagine the brick/stone hits your wheel or your body and causes you to swerve out or fall into the road and you get run over by a truck(which there are many of on that road) or a vehicle. The kid who threw the stone/brick would just dodge in between the houses and gone he is leaving someone seriously injured or dead on the road. What can be done about this? Just to be clear - what the kid did was dangerous and if the rock hit me it would have hurt like hell, I was pissed off and swore at the the kid giving him a piece of my mind, unfortunately he was to far off to try and chase. But I don't want to exaggerate, other hubbers have been in far more dangerous situations the past few months.
