BMC Fan,

Sorry to see you next to the road outside M'Bury this morning, man.

Flat tyre?

How about three times Airbender! I chatted to him after the race. He only had one tube and one bomb on him and as far as I could see, no pump either. Had to beg and borrow for replacement tubes  Not AYOBA!

:excl:  :cursing:

One of the toughest examinations I evva faced on two wheels. Lots of small bunching and no man's land.

Respect to the domestiques of the world who protects their lead riders. I tried this role out this morning.

Respect to the elements of the weather gods.

I expect a whole lot of 'hurting' and 'aching' in the commentary of those who were out there this morning.

I dont feel a thing! LOL. Glad you guys finished!

It was a profitable day today. Helped three flat batteried cars out - got R150 in donations :D . Then I won a lucky draw prize :D :D Bonus.

My theory is working here - Every time I get a flat in a race, I win a prize (well yesterday wasn't a race but it was a real test). I'd rather not get a flat than win a prize but the 99'er has a car prize..... to get a flat or not? that is the question.

Nice to see you there at the end with you Babe, SirK...

Someone to complain too about the sufferfest across 100 kms.

Next time - organise some sushi and freezing point lemonade to your chommies, okay?

Ok guys, I'm not riding the Bouckaert Soenen race next weekend. The weekend of 5 Feb I'm in Bloem for a wedding, so no riding then.

How about we get a group together this Saturday 30 Jan to do the 99'er route as a training ride. Surely there are guys not racing and keen to do the route.

Well I felt the wind yesterday..... it feels nothing!

If I do skip a long route for a short one again, I will see if I can organise some sushi and ice cold lemonade :D
