Nice pics...

SirK is a machine, and he rides a nice machine as well ;)

Yeah, the only way to get ahead of him to the top was to tell him that we are not playing "King Of The Mountain; King Of The Mountain..." today...

Otherwise, he just switches on those pistons and zzziiiiiiippppp!

To Airbender: are we continuing riding through winter? I'm thinking about joining city cycles - they do Saturday and Sunday rides in nice big groups

Where are they based? Plan was to go through winter but didn't have fixed plans yet. Airbender in JHB so he might only get to respond later today..

Also plan to ride through winter. Maybe not every weekend, but I plan to stay active. Will be doing some Mtb races also.

Will be nice to ride with you guys.

DD,

Cannot count on me for organising consistent winter rides.

My travel demands are too high for the next while.

I will call for the occassional 120 - 140 kms Long Steady Distance rides. Hope to see you there.

Hey, hey, hey...

Well done you all on some superb results in the grand ol' Argus - everyone I know here arrived safely and achieved cool finishing times.

SirK, your top 10 finish in E was a superb result!

And a special shout over to Helderberg Basin for Headhunter - heal quickly after your incident before Little Chappies.

What happened? Havent seen or heard anything from him?

There has been a lot of talk about the big old Argus on the hub of late, might be a good time to mention that it is probably one of the Best organized one day Classics on our road calender!

Big up to the organizers

What I heard is that K T braked to avoid a pedestrian at the bottom of Little Chappies, was bumped from behind and crashed over into another rider. Broken hand and gashes and a 3:16 finish. His last post said he was very Eina!

Think I might need to rest out the legs on Sunday.... All the Hill Training for the Alpine challenge
