The irony is they only making those with a Shimano body.  A bit f%^&ed up if you ask me. Go steal a Campy design and then say sorry, no Campy body.

I know theres an old colnago hanging up in the workshop at coolheat, all orginal with campy stuff...no one really knows the story behind it therefore not keen to sell...but I also know they have a few retro parts lying around in their warehouse-purple vuelta chainrings for example...as well as very old GT frames from when they bought in GT...

wondering how many sets you're sitting on.

had thought it was about to be installed on a daccordi62

Its all too nice to sell.

I've got so far in having the missus agree that classic bicycle things are like paintings. hows that !!! (I truly love her)

..and I'm bummed that I don't have deltas yet btw

This is a particularly nice set!

... I'll be honest and say that I'm holding back for a set of black ones

Some of the goodies that I have gathered over the last while have just arrived:

Campy 1962 large flange front hub and skewer

My favorite penchant: alter stems 2 off 110mm nice condition and f expensive lately

DuraAce RD new 1 off

Modolo team levers with white hoods (new) and black calipers.

Silva bar cork bar tape embossed "de Rosa"

pls note: nobody should bother scrounging.

Het TB, i've got some downtube shifters to go with that DA derailleur if you looking.  For some reason the 7400 derailleur is the only one in the Shimano range that has a different cable pull to the rest of the range.

My latest acquisition. Bianchi in absolute mint condition. Columbus TSX tubing. Full Dura Ace groupset including seat post and headset. Cinelli stem and handlebars (with internal cable routing).

The only things I need to change to this bike are the stem (need a longer one) and the saddle (want a white one).

Wow Jules, stunning bike. I really like the 7400 groupset, especially with DT shifters. Are the bars 26 or 26.4? I know at some stage Cinelli made the move to 26, not sure when though.

Jules, I may be wrong...but the bar you have on there sounds like a Cinelli 'Tempo' 64-40. Nice bar, had one myself. If memory serves me correctly this is still the old size, before Cinelli did the more conventional size.

But like I said, I may be wrong. Nice bike though!

Thanks velo! How would i tell? My bar says 64-40

Seems like you have to add a vernier to your shopping list as well.

Cinelli's odd stem size was deadly. Fit a non-Cinelli handlebar to a Cinelli stem and you have a hear attack when you have to break really hard, as the bars drop, giving you an acute feeling of disorientation and panic.

Best to measure them with a vernier. The crucial year for Cinelli going over to standard 26mm was '98 but I won't risk my sanity on a date stamp. Measure it.
