Ok, now that the trail period of 30 days came to an end, I need to purchase a full licence.

 

 

 

Who in South africa sells this, or were can I order from a SA Agent / shop.

Popeye ,only for the current PC ,not sure what happens if you want to change your PC?If you already have the trial version you can just pay online and they give you a activation code for your current program

They have a very good method against pirating.You can download onto a pc or if you have the disc from them you have to go online to their website to obtain a second key(password) or the program won't open.So there is no buying the program and copying it for your mates.A friend of mine was using the program with his ergomo when his computer crashed and the only answer from ergomo and cycling peaks was to buy another program.That sucks.

IU baught the ibike from someone who already fiddle with the trail software, so I guess its already "fixed" to that PC.

 

 

 

Now the guy who sold it to me, never installed it, but he gave it to his buddy to manage.. One big f**kup.

 

 

 

And he never told me that.

 

 

 

Now I don't want to "internet update" and than find out its not going to work after paying R700.

I don't think it is going to work unfortunately.The moment you go online to update cyclingpeaks will see that the program has been installed on another computer.this friend of mine was trying to do exactly that.Bought the ergomo second hand and was trying to update the software and now has lost everything.The best is to buy a new program from them and maybe try to get the person who sold you the ibike to give you something towards it.The newer version is always better anyway.From Jan 2007 they added performance manager to the program which is a huge help.

Get a copy of WKO+ for ATHLETE. That is what you want to download the ibike and review your data.

Marius, that R700 is money WELL spent. I would have paid it again, if there was no other option (see above).

Popeye, please would you click through from the Bikemaxpower website.  This counts as a referral from the site and benefits the site.

You can move the license from one machine to another, it just has to be done manually.  Everything else is done online and their service is pretty good.
