It does miss a few important bits but you can scoot along with your 2 legs if you lower the saddle .....

If you remember one day that it still needs a chain it will not be the lightest.

 

I think our Tandem is the lightest Alu framed bike. With 40 spoke wheels and no weight weenie components it weighs 16,8kg.... sooo (without discriminating at you guys with 1/2 bikes.... we will assuming the following..... 16,8kg/2= 8,4 kg....... quite light would you not say!!!!!!
