There is nothing wrong with the Taiwan made bikes, in many cases they're better than what comes out of the USA. They manufacture so many bikes, that they can invest the capital in machines required to build better parts.

That Kwela looks good Wink

Brad not the case with bmx bikes' date=' these japanese bikes still crack and break, the us ones dont.[/quote']

Garth, in the last few years I have seen broken S&M's, Fit's, FBM's and T1's. As well as brokem Taiwan frames like Fly's, Federal etc. All frames break. But most of the newer Taiwan frames have nicer features and are lighter. In my opinion, the Taiwan BMX frames are better than the USA frames.

I've also seen way more USA made bars bend in comparison to the newer Taiwan 11 and 13 butted bars. Even the S&M handlebar tubing come from Taiwan... it's just welded in the States!

oh don't get me wrong noteing wrong with bikes made in the east, the last bike i had that was made in the USA was horrible......really horrible...canno.....never mind

I just like the novelty of having a bike made locally, hopefully Patrick had a heavy hand in the design of the frame, plus hopefully it will be good price as well to get the brand out to more riders......really want to see this brand go BIG....even more than it is at the moment.
