There is an even easier way to record youtube videos: simply type "kiss" in between the 'www' and the 'youtube' - e.g. www.kissyoutube.com/234354etc. You will be taken to a new page where you can download the selected file.

Kiss stands for keep it simple stupid of course. Try it - really works well.

Tried the kissyoutube thing. Not getting it to work. They say to be sure to save as an *.flv

Easy tiger ...

Well, (and I sense you won't like this), you need to download a flash Video Player (FLV player) to view the file that you've saved.

They are free, easy to find on google, and is not a big download. If you are going to dowload a lot from youtube it is well worth it. I'll post a link to a good download site if you request it.

ok, I got mine to work. If you look in your Temp/Internet files MinsSauce, right click and list them as arrange accourding to Size, then you'll see that the youTube files that's bigger than 1mb is actually those video's and is desplayed as .file type. So copy them 1 by one and rename then with the .flv, download a Flash video player, I got Wimpy FLV player and watch it thru that, as soon as you see what you watching, stop and rename the file so you know what you watching, sounds simplke I know.

You can look in your temporary internet files for clips with a "FLV" extention. Copy them to a known location and download the "FLV Player" to open them with. FLV stands for "Flash Video". There are also utilities available to convert the files to "AVI", but that is just a waste of time. The quality of the video clips does not warrant al the time and effort to do that.
