Yes he (Adrien) got some good coverage out the Tour of Ireland, he has quite a "rags to riches" type of story and it would be awesome if he become part of the regular europro scene.

 

HOWEVER

 

Jumping the gun and making ASSumptions....should a team qualify for an  entry to the holy grail of cycling (TDF) just cause it was a "Team from Africa"

Even if that will happen, it will be no free ride I think the costs involved in sending a team to the TDF is astronomical, so finace will be a problem

[/quote'] No, Africans need to earn their entry, not given an empowerment deal, if we do not deserve to be there, then we should not. We get given these entries and then get embarressed by the gulf in performance!

and before the government give any money they will establish a quota system and demand the levels be dropped so that you only need to complete 70% of a stage to qualify for a finish.

hmmm....just saw this 'prototype' 2010 model......must admit it looks a halluva lot better than the 09 model and actually pretty hot!

Whats with all the prototype stickers? Isnt the Volcoms just normal off the shelve mass produced taiwanese bikes?

prototype juts means they haven't decided what colour font to write 'volcan' in yet smiley36.gif

 

 

 

aggh......am so over "my bikes made in", "your bikes made in", "they're made in the same factory", "that bike is made in China", blah blah......

 

 

 

either way volcan's name will be raised......and cycleab will sell a bunch more...
