Dischem at Kings Court in PE had no whasp gel bottles (600g) when I went in looking for them...

I went to Dischem at Eastrand Mall. No stock. Asked the salesman and was told that Wasp is not popular and they are not keen to stock it. It takes up shelf space.

Hi

Thanks for the info, keep it coming, i am having a emergency meeting again with this info with dischem this week...i am trying to get to the bottom of it.

This is also why i have the local bike shop promo going at the moment to get them more onbaord and also make it easier for the man on the street.

Northcliff cycles has great levels, as does cycletech and a few other shops, hopefully this will increase, go bug your local shop to get the deal in...great value

As I stated in another thread:

Never had a problem in Durban... Whasp is always easy to find

Have you tried Dischem in Hillcrest? I have been there about four times in the past few months and they only have one or two Whasp products hidden in the corner. Every time I make a point of telling the manager that I want Whasp' date=' and he says they have ordered but they are not receiving product from Whasp. I think these guys have some ulterior reasons to support particular brands.

Dischem in Westwood Mall on the other hand have the complete range of Whasp products in stock. Clap

Pornstar, Dischem in Cresta is terrible. They had 2 empty dispensers of green gel and about 3 tubs of Amino carb. Gu takes up a full shelve just with the gels.

Dischem Somerset West had no stock of the 600ml gel bottles over the weekend, but said they would get from Paarl.

All the gel sachets which they had in stock were still of the older style packaging.

Just bought half of Paarl's stock of ProAmino, they now only have one left. They did have some of the gel flasks left, did not check how much.

Will try it this weekend.

Dischem Somerset West phoned to say they got one 600ml gel bottle (pepto pro) for me from Paarl, but no flask?? How am I supposed to use it without a flask? Confused

Pornstar, do you still offer a free flask with a 600ml bottle or was that a limited time special? Just want to know if I should insist that Dischem get me a flask as well.

I basically took all the 600ml gel bottles with flask from Paarl dischem. Was there yesterday and they got a few more in as well as some tubs of whasp energy drink. No loose gel sachets though

Thanks Pornstar, that is what i thought.

Just wanted to know before I get difficult with Dischem.

Already asked them to find a flask, but their initial response was that they did not have. Still need to go and collect the gel, so will see.

Will also try to get my LBS to contact you so that they can stock Whasp.
