I've generally had good experiences (actually very good), I've only had one 'unhappy' deal (a set of pedals that should have included cleats and I never got the cleats)

Bought from King Cycles on the Hub as well as a Delphi HRM from Joey100 after Kieran pointed me in his direction.

Both deals went sweetly. Nice people.

Some more names to add to my list of people you can trust:

nickc - thanks for the box of magazines

ChunkyMunky - very accommodating and friendly

Speedfreak - thank you for the saddle.

Great guys one and all!!!! Always give credit where it is due.ClapClapClap

I have sold quite a few things and bought a couple here and there. All my dealings have been good.

  • 2 weeks later...

I recently joined and since bought a shock and set of brakes and all went smooth, secondhand, but all came as advertised.

Also took a chance and placed a CRC order with some other guys and everyone was quick to respond.

This is way better than BOB if anyone is looking for cycling equipment.

I can only go for option 3.

Will never buy from a out of town hubber again, unless I knows him personally.

I got old You's and pool manuals instead of a Tag Heuer watch.

Paul, dont want to go in detail.

The seller used the post office, the post office used some courier,

when the parcel was delivered to the reception (security guys) of my co., I only got a box, not sealed in plastic bag, box was taped with post office duck tape.

After months, and lot of pressure I eventually got my money back.

As said before, I will never ever buy from a out of town hub seller.

I'm not going into a discussion on this one, most of the hubbers knows this story very well.

Dealings 99% good. Most guys are honest. Just had one guy who took the money and left for overseas without ensuring I received the goods or got a refund, never to be seen again. Thanks oerkwart Thumbs%20Down.

I used the hub once to buy my first Triathlon bike. I have to say that I can only give big ups to the hub and also Darreng that I dealt with.

I found a good bike for a really good price, thank you to the hub.

Darren gave me all the assurances that I asked for after the transfer of the funds and the bike arrived in an even better condition than what I was hoping for.Clap

No pressure Wink...

I can recall your ordeal. It must've sucked.

When I deal - I insist on and use Speedservices PO-counter-to-counter-PO...
