calling newbies and not-so-newbies from gauteng

possibly a ride at northern farms, or sommer in the spruit - lets say we meet at botannical gardens, then down to delta park, back up, and possibly to albert's farm - and vida or doppio zero afterwards.

anyone?

If it's Northern Farms I'm keen to join you guys for a bit. I have to do a 5 hr ride so some company for part of the time would be fantastic.

cat-i, slave is a BIG baby, he needs a constant baby sitting... He just doesn't have an MTB, just a hybrid bike with 700cx38 tyres... rigid fork and all...

My first "MTB" (back in 1997) was a hybrid with rigid fork, but I don't think my tyres were as fat as 38!  (Still using the hybrid as my commute bike; got 700x28 tyres on it now).

I did all sorts of off-road riding on that bike, no reason he can't go MTB with you lot. LOL

Just beware of cat-i...Evil%20Smile we go back many years, when she was still a roadie and a Capie...

mands - i'm house-sitting a place next to the spruit, so it doen's make sense to drive through to NF if i can just cycle out the front gate ... but we'll cycle together at NF at some stage, i'm doing enough of the spruit on weekdays to not hae to do it every weekend too :)

andy - the parking closest to the dam wall? is 7:00 too early?

My mistake. So that was a Giant MTB with drop bars and very skinny slicks which you always did the Argus on?? Wink

I know that parking. On the Beyers Naude side of the dam. Used to do cubs/scouts there. How long do you plan on riding for?
