thought you mean weak?  yeh I had a sewage spill at my house (the full monty, toilet paper, shyt the works), so had to dismantle my trainer for carpets to be ripped out and now the guys told me they are still waiting for suppliers for the new carpets, I started running low training level depression so today reasembled my trainer completely, keeps body and mind in one piece!!

Depends - 7 days of doing nothing after very hard prolonged training or stage-racing can benefit the training effort from day 8 onwards.

Do not expect top racing performance on day 8.
