Hijacking opposite Northern Farms

Andrew Bennett and i (Malcolm Schutte) were hijacked at gunpoint this morning at around 08h45 next to the freeway opposite Northern Farms, please see the list of goods stolen from the two of us.

2 x BIANCHI OETZI hard tails

2 x pairs SIDI ERGO dragon 2 (White)

2 x Rudy Project glasses with addaptive lenses, one red pair, one blue pair.

Other parafanalia was cell phones, money, etc.

 

Modus Opperandi:

Wait in long grass next to the free way where they can see both North and South if clear, they walk in Three, one armed and move off  the track as expected until you are right upon them they jump directly in front of you and cock the weapon, you are forced to lie down while they ransack you and then tie your hands behind your back. They continuously shout obsceneties and threaten to shoot you, they lead you to the long grass and instruct you to remain face down. They dissapear on to the highway in to a vehicle and gone.

 

Please alert your friends and family of this and keep your eyes peeled for two new BIANCHI hard tails for sale, if you can add value pleas notify me, for together we can make a difference and iradicate this blatant assoult on soft targets.

PM Yang as a lot of these stolen bike land up up North. He's recovered a few bikes up there (Mozambique)

Sorry to hear about this - I thought that area was relatively safe - someone posted a thread a few days ago, and everyone seemed to think it was safe.

 

Was it actually in Northern Farms? Was it on the road that the Northern Farms entrance is on? or Was it next to the N14?
