sometimes i get an error message saying that the file is in the incorrect format and then it is a JPG ...other time i got an error saying something about the filename is wrong ..whatever that means

Log out, clear your cookies, and try again. It often solves the problem.

If you're using Internet Explorer then try logging in and upload using Firefox or vice versa. I'll also gladly try upload pics on your behalf if you want.

I would suggest a photobucket account and then simply upload from there.
