ugh! We've just had another incident. Cyclist suffered heart attack apparently when out training.

Shame, this is horrible news, I saw the two of them at the Nedbank Golf Challenge last month up at Sun City (my brother works for Old Mutual)

Sheesh Guys...how are we ever gonna win this battle..

 

a mate of mine was killed by a truck about 3 weeks ago...driver cut the corner and he went under..Surely truck driver know thier trailers take a smaller turning cricle than the horse??

Friend of mine got knocked on the m19 by westville, durban last sunday. Probably drunk driver. Stay off the roads in the silly season.

South African's in general have a problem utilising basic tools such as indicators, what level of responsibility do you think they feel for cyclists on our roads? You risk your life every time you ride on the road, this country is not cycle friendly and never will be. I have quit road cycling except during closed races.(Argus, Tour DBN etc) I ride a mountain bike off road to stay fit, its safer, more fun and i value my life too much to risk it on a bicycle on S.A streets.Deepest condolances to those affected by this tragedy.

I am in Cape Town, will the funeral be held in Durbanville?

 

I do not get any newspapers so I am a bit lost.
