Not so. the Record crank is carbon and is stiffer than the Shimano alloy crank.

But like its been mentioned, it doesn't ultimately matter, especially to me since i can barely push out the kind of power even a Junior rider makes. I make my decisions based on how things look. and for me its Campy.

Pity they don't publish how many watts it takes to bend these cranks!! I seriously doubt mere mortals like hubbers could ever generate enough watts to have to worry about the stiffness of the crank. Get the FSA's and worry more about bending your frame, wheels and handlebars!! Oh, and the Zipps are gorgeous if you wanna blow megabucks.
