Great deal, full bike, Sram Red, ritchey Parts Mavic Ksyrium elite wheels, all for R20 000-00, and with my race wheels weighs 6.6kg.

Which one of the two "speaks" to you? Remember you have to look at it, ride it, clean it, maintain it, etc. If you are not attracted to the bike, you will not have that warm feeling when looking at it, and as a result will not enjoy it as much.

I know it does not make real sense what I'm saying, but it is based on your scenario. (hope this makes senseWink)

which frame would make you happiest in the long run?

Dont worry about the components... those can always be changed/upgraded... but once you have the frame, that's it!

Personally, I would choose the Cervelo.

ja, i think those were team bikes from konica minolta of last year.

There are quite a few options available in your price range, it would require some homework, but if you do it thoroughly, you will be happier in the long run.

No matter what anyone else says, personal preference plays a big role in what you choose.

(by anyone else i am specifically referring to the LBS sale guys, keep an

open mind, cause it is easy for him to sell what HE likes!)

If you dont want to spend that amount of cash and just want a frame.. have a look at the RC8000 the LTD and the TEAM edition. Can pick them up for around R6500 brand new.. but i guess it all depends on how much you ride etc.

I'd go with the Raleigh.

Had a Trek madone, but crashed in a crit and cracked the frame, Trek new is just to overpriced now.

Want a good responsive frame, not to worried about price with in reason, saw the was a Trek 6.9 for R25000-00 2 weeks ago, would of bought that quickly!!!!!

Got myself the raleigh limited a week ago. Awesome frame. What wannebe said, is very true. That picture of the raleigh does not justify how cool it looks. Top end bike at around 6.8kg for R 20 000. Go go go
