Would you have done what Kevin E did on Sat?

OR  would you go for the jugular vein and leave the opponent for dead?

http://kevinevansracing.blogspot.com/2010/01/mtn-barberton-ultra-marathon-2.html   read the whole story

From his blog

The final action between Burry and I came in the final kilometer when a

fun rider crashed Burry into the pavement! At this stage I immediately

sat up and waited for him, it wouldn?t have felt right to attack

someone under those circumstances, and to have a fair sprint with him

as I?m sure he?d have done the same for me.

It was the right thing to do. Even Ulrich waited for LA on the tour after a crash. Well done to Kevin

but didn't lance bleat much later that he didn't?

It is in the nature of the dog to bite and pointless to rail against it.

No.... Lance did express his appreciation after the stage, and reminded everyone that he had waited for Jan on a decent when Jan went down the bank the year before...

Either that year or the following year, on a mountain top finish (penultimate stage) lance and jan crested the climb together, lance securing tour win. Lance let jan go infront of him, which gave jan enough bonus seconds to ensure he was second overall. as jan crossed the line he put his hand back to lance thanking him.... Damn i miss those Armstrong / ullrich battles!!!!
