I need one suspension fork to used as a demo model when I show the Fork Service Workshop class in Jhb on Saturday how to service their forks.

I'll need one for Cape Town at the end of the month too.

Here's the deal. You bring me your fork (taken off the bike) and I'll service it for free on Saturday. You can collect it on Sunday or Monday from me.

What does free mean? Free means the labour will be free, but oil and O-rings will be to your costs - R90 to be exact. If the fork needs seals, I'll fit those for free but you pay for them.

The ideal fork will be a mid-range Rox or Fox - Reba or RL. U-Turn or Talas forks are not suitable for this beginners class.

I'll need the fork delivered tomorrow or Saturday morning.

First come, first served. Beer may help you jump the queue.

forgot to mention.....this fork is practically new......has about 200km on it....less than 10 hours of use up to now...

Johan, you can have my Fox F100 RL. It needs another service, and I need the leak fixed, as it's been leaking oil since we serviced it last. Please let me know...

I cant belive not more people are jumping at this oppertunity. Its a bloody messy job but fun nontheless. If you dont know how, then get it done for free or just about. You pay between R400 & R450 for that you know where as you could just be paying for new seals/washers

major bargain in my opinion

Well I am a bit "shocked" that johan did not ask for MY shock as we all know it has never ever been serviced and could be an interesting venture

"Shocked" you may be, but I am sure he will get to you on the "rebound"? No need to feel "dampened" by it I am sure.

The fact that he "piston" your battery was an accident.

I am pretty pumped at the idea of you attending the workshop and showing us why shocks should be serviced more often than yours.

C'mon, I'll even bring out my camera....and beer.

\OK, like I said, first come first serve. You were first. Committ to the exercise and your fork gets a service and shortening. I must just remember to pack my hacksaw.

You'll have to drop the fork of in Kalk Bay. Is that OK?

If not....neeeeext!

OK, bring it. It sounds like you need some new seals though. Lets chat about it.
