I have heard of air shocks before, but my XCM Suntour shocks have some water coming out of them!

After rides/cleaning the beast, I hang it up in the garage, and when I do the water( which is dark and stains everything it touches) drips out of the shocks.

This can't be good, what should I do?

Well the water comes from the washing and or riding through water.  Sound like your seals are gone.......  I would agree with DH king.... rather go for a better fork if you can.....

Otherwise service it - check for rust and replace the seals.....

How do you keep the water out while washing? Is that where the seals come in?

As you can see from XCM shock, bike fairly bottom of the range so if there is no quick fix at home I think I will wait for my new bike. Not sure its worth servicing the shock for a month or two when I don't have anything major planned.

Thanks.

Don't clean with a pressure hose as this forces the water into the seals. Rather wipe' date=' not spray.

Correct , a shock/suspension fork should be wiped and not washed . But water will always get to it when you wash and that is why you first dry the shock after a wash
