So, I usually browse from work with pictures turned off (less use of bandwidth means less emails stating "this is not work related" that are cc'ed to the boss!!), so I never noticed that I lost my avatar!

But now it's back Big%20smile

Hey BigBen, you know me, I NEVER go home on time!

Regarding the work access, when you work with approximately 700 staff who are all trying to email MPEGS, jokes, download MP3s, etc I guess they have to make blanket decisions. I'm lucky I get full internet access, most of the company can only access supplier sites, etc!

We received a communications code - they mentioned not to visit chatrooms , so I visit forumns. When I started working for the whole (not for long anymore by the look of things) we had badbooks - a  feint carbon whatver for the boss to write notes and issues into - one famous remark -

I have to say, if the work is getting done...

BUT I've also seen my parents business where they have just employed about 5 new staff. Suddenly their broadband cap is used up by the 5th of the month, telephone costs have tripled, the employees are never there until 5, they mooch off early... and these are engineers! So I can understand sometimes that if people act like children, they must be treated as such!
