I used tacx the last time around, but now a friend of mine said I must use KCNC. I heard BBB are also quite good. Any advice smiley3.gif

I have Blue KCNC, work great, I saw you also get KCNC jockey wheels with ceramic bearings, but overkill.

Mine have done about 2000kays and still spin well, the coloured anodising wears off after a while but you cannot really notice it.

Finding bloody SRAM jockey wheel bolts, now there is mission impossible..anyone got any lying around perhaps?

Wat ek wil weet is of hierdie KCNC jockey wheels gaan hou. Hulle lyk baie sag..

I've had mine on my all mountain rig for about 2 years now. 1 Concussion, lotsa blood, even more mud and they are still going strong.

Note - your chain will wear the colour off the teeth but the majority of the wheel still looks just fine.

The best ones are the ones supplied with the part. If it needed improving it would have been done. The bad part is that they are expensive so a good alternative are the KCNC. If you get the silver ones you do not have to worry about the colour comming off and the silver looks really nice on a XT derailleur.

The pro's and con's:

KCNC - not so easy to clean as the normal "plastic" one's

KCNC - Looks prettier than the "plastic" ones.

KCNC - Easy to service/take apart the bearings nside and repair/raplace.

KCNC - can be pricey...
