Colds, flu’s etc

I don't know about you guys, but everyone here seems to be down with something. Especially the flu seems very severe this year, with a number of people ending up in hospital etc.

What do you guys take as preventitive measures?

Once you have it, what doepas do you use?

Any other good tips and practices you can share?

Personally, I watch the Weather daily for a humidity reading, as this is the forerunner to post nasal drips.

This works for me not had a cold or flu for 3 years,Multi vitamin(staminagro)

vit C,Zinc tablets red wine with my dinner, and always wear my thermal vest.

When I stepped off the plane at Jnb International on Wednesday evening I was sick. Nose running and feeling really sh!t. I started drinking the overdose Vitamin C (Scorbex) and the Tarentaal Pille (Sinucod). Did not work at first and went to the cehmist. She gave me Sinuclear. Instead of drying up it makes the nose run. Not excesive but at least the schnozz was not blocked up. Today, back in Moz I feel OK to start giving it gas again. If I was not on my Multivitamin every day seven days a week every month for a year forevever I would have been Hond siek!!!!! The Sinuclear really works. I also used Viralchoice. You stink of garlic if you use it wrong.

200ml Ginger beer (Stoney)
1 x tblspoon Honey
1 x tblspoon Lemon Juice
1 x tblspoon Brandy (make it 2 if you really feel bad) smileys/smiley2.gif
