They are as scarce as hens teeth. I have the ZTR 355 and have the white Crests on back order from CRC (29") to build up a new lighweight wheelset with the new XTR race hubs. Ask Tarmac-SLR he has a set of 29ers

I have just bought a set of ZTR 355 with comp spokes and A2Z hubs.

Grant from Adrenaline Cycles built them for me. Awesome set of wheels!!! Came in at 1490g with tyres cassette and rotors!

Due to the lightness it does feel a little unstable at first but I have done a 50km ride and can't say enough. Looking forward to Hill to Hill this weekend!!

I have them - waited 4 months for mine - rare as rocking horse sh** but worth the weight/wait.

They are scary light, seal up perfectly and strong enough for my fat ass.

Highly reccomended.

Mine are 29ers built to 1450g.

Try getting some two months ago...I dont care if you Stan himself. You weren't getting any.

When CRC have to wait two months, then sell out in a day...you know.

Stan himself is out of stock --- until Mid October. They currently cannot keep up with the demand for their rims worldwide. We ( Two Wheels Trading ) are the South African distributers and have Crest 29er rims coming, they should arrive last week of September. We do have ZTR 355 29er and ARCH 29er rims arriving next week too.

Just get your preferred cycle shop to contact us to put them on backorder for them.

We have also been getting some Complete ZTR RACE 29er ( 1370g / set ) and ZTR CREST 29er ( 1530g )wheelsets --- most are pre-booked by dealers before arrival. We have some available next week ... ZTR RACE 29er.

Nice rims. All the ZTR rims are great. I just wish they put out a better message about the differences between the various ZTRs. I understand disk vs rim brake and 29 vs 26 and black vs red but the different shapes confuse me. What's their purpose?

I've seen ZTR rims take over the premium rim spot and I'm happy to see that a standard non-UST rim is keeping head above water in the ocean of confusing UST FUD.

I've built dozens of wheels with these rims and I've had one come-back so far - rock damage. This would have happened to any rim.

One cautionary about ZTR rims, and this applies to wheelbuilders only. The stated ERD on the rims are out by about 4mm. The ERD is on average 4mm larger than they claim. I've taken this up with the Stan's guys directly but I'm from Africa and not entitled to an intelligent reply.

If you use one of the standard spoke calculators like spokecalc or indeed, the formula for a line in space and round your spoke length down by 2mm to compensate for stretch, then you may well end up with spokes that are too short, exposing a bit of thread.

TWT provides great service and I wish them success with this brand.
