No Towbar

I regularly carry 3 mountain bikes on it. Must be close to the rack's limit of 45kg

Do you see what bikes they carry in the pic. That means it can either just carry super light machines or you can only afford one of those if you've got a house full of unused cash.

Fit a Towbar but without the electrics and even the ball to save some cash and fit a Trapezium or Holdfast.

 

Thule are awesome but pricy. You can get away with a far cheeper rack without any disadvantages.

Yeah towbar looks like the way to go

Just not keen on them making holes in my car to mount it

"Kus Kanker" loves places like that to get a foothold but I guess some tectyll and the Carwell treatment should keep the ions in the metal

If u get one, try and get one which folds down so u can open the boot even when the bike carrier is on.

I also looked at the clip on option...End of the day rather fitted a towbar
